Best Sandwich You’ll Ever Eat. Go early, and be prepared to wait, because each and every item on the ever-changing menu is hand-crafted to order by Ben Manea. Is it worth the wait? The Pastrami sandwich is quite simply a work of culinary genius. The ingredients, the presentation, and the attention to every taste detail turn a sandwich into an experience. Do not miss out on this one.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to actualy eat out and enjoy your glutenfree Dishes, which are hard to find. Judging by the previous review, some people don’t deserve to enjoy chemical and preservative free meals. These people would be much better served in fast food restaurants. Please check out my pictures of some of my favorite Walla dishes and tell me if they look like dried out day old bread ? People that write reviews should inform themselves first.06 Jul, 2012Wow. I’am very careful where I eat. So, one day, on o stroll through the old Cannery I was pleasantly surprised. As soon as we passed the actual brewery and the smell of fresh beer, my nose told me that there was another smell in the air, something that instantly stirred my taste buds. It was a Saturday and people were lined up inside this little ole Bakery. Customers were also outside sitting on tables which did give me the instant feeling of being transferred to a outside sidewalk cafe. Just beautiful.I still remember standing there in disbelieve when I was served tastes of all different kinds of Breads and dips. Well, Benjamin, thank you for opening the door for me to wonderful foccacia buns, a healthy choice of all different kind of foods and a shoulder to whine to, ha,ha.
Middle Eastern / Mediterranean food craving.. If you are craving for some authentic Middle Eastern / Mediterranean food and happen to be in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, take a short drive to Penticton. There you will find Mr. Benjamin Manea and his great Walla Foods restaurant / bakery / cafe.Mouth-watering dips, quiches, breads and desserts all made and served with passion and love.
