  Food was great however our waitress was inattentive. No refills offered only seen her when dropping of a part of our meal no smiles, thank yous, your welcome (bad day I guess or hate their job) Had to ask for the kids desserts. Waitress was a total let down but food was great. Would of rated higher if not for server.

• The Vegetarian Critic

  The only table available was the one by the cold door, letting in the freezing Canadian wind. Our hostess looked at us like we were crazy when we said we’d rather wait for another table. After a 15 minute wait, we got the table 4 feet left of the original table. Being vegetarian, I looked for a vegetarian option. There was no salad without meat, but there was a veggie burger. I asked for tomatoes on it as well; one simple request. I never got the tomato! The people dining with me needed a drink refill as our food wait was very long, as well as ketchup. We asked two different waitresses and only received what we needed 10 minutes after asking one of the waitresses a second time. The fries were only the little end pieces, and the portions were half the size and quality they should have been for the price. The veggie burger patty was decent though, it was portabella mushroom. Another friend enjoyed his ribs. Overall, the bad service and skimpy meals outweighed the nice looking restaurant. I will not be dining here again.I’m leaving hungry, tomato-less, and cold! Would not reccomend as a place to dine in Penticton.
