The only place to buy bread in penticton. And the cheese buns? Are you kidding me with these? So good.
Bakery. Go for the bread and buns – tough to beat.Outstanding
Good food other good eats right next. My wife and daughter had tuna melt on a delicious bun. I had the gourmet grilled cheese which really hit the spot.
Biscuit Heaven. Thanks to US I have a new love interest….this is a bit of trip back in time….a very old-school looking bakery with a vintage vibe. Some of the items look very pedestrian but we had room for their buttermilk biscuits which were absolutely superb. The poppy seed cake I had was a little shy on sugar which meant the bitter poppy seeds were a little too prominent but I’ll certainly be back to work my through the baked goods.
Penticton’s Bakery. You have been blogged as past of a few businesses in Penticton yesterday. Go to http://www.damnicandothis.comand comment if you wish.
Amazing pumpkin tart, when available! I plan on ordering a large one in the future for a special occasion.
NOT in Whole Foods. Excellent baked goods. Their day-olds are still fresher than what you’ll find at your grocery store. I love their croissants and cookies, but find some of their offerings too rich for my taste. It’s great that they have something for everyone!BUT…they are not in Whole Foods. They are in the plaza to the south of Whole Foods Market’s plaza, still on the east side of Main. Look in the NE corner of the plaza–there are automatic doors that open onto a courtyard inside w a fishmonger’s, a deli/butcher’s, and one of the most fabulous European bakeries in the Okanagan.
