My wife and I have been frequenting this little diamond since we moved to Pitt Meadows 3 years ago. It looks very modern, simple and clean without being boring. Several couples tables, family tables, and two very long tables for multiple groups or one big party are situated in a way as to make space look open and social without feeling cramped. The food is prepared in a more traditional Japanese fashion, with the Sashimi being delicate, thin and not like the more massive piecesyou can sometimes get at other sushi restaurants. The rolls too are very well done, made to look simple and elegant but deceiving in that you know, there is much skill in this chef with his trade. The way sushi is meant to be done.Customer service from the kitchen side is very good, professional. The front end could use some improvement, maybe a more professional approach but in all honesty, it isn’t bad now.All in all, I would have to say this place is a solid choice when deciding what sushi place to dine at, with most of the competition in this area below par if not downright horrible.

This little gem hidden in a Lougheed strip mall is owned and operated by a Japanese owner. Everyone whom I take there raves about the food, including well traveled international visitors. The chef is very professional and the owner is very warm andWelcoming. Most important is the food. Japanese traditional with a nod to Vancouver peculiarities which are not traditional, but tasty all the same. I found it by accident and I just wanted a bowl of miso soup. I stayed for the sashimi and since then, I am a very loyal customer.

Love this place, beautiful Japanese restaurant with great atmosphere! Don’t have to go to downtown…and the food is fabulous if you like authentic Japanese cuisine… best sushi and rolls around!

A Wonderful Relaxed Dining Experience. A cool and relaxed interior with fabulous food at a very reasonable price. With two small children and a slightly grumpy father in law they managed to make everyone happy! Plenty for vegetarians and fish lovers alike. Highly recommended, get there before everyone finds out about it!

Wonderful Food, Service and Atmosphere. We contacted the owners of the restaurant during the summer to host my father’s 60th birthday there on December 13. We just had the party and it was amazing. We had the whole restaurant. The set up these long communal tables, a buffet of the most delicious food (nothing but raves from the guests). They even let us bring in a photo booth. The coat check in the front is the perfect place and fit so well. BTW, we used ImageCube and they were great too. Kisoji did a wonderful job with our party and I highly recommend it for events and dining out. The service and food are always impeccable.
