Not impressed with the service. Took about an hour to get food delivered. The chicken fried rise has nothing but chewy chicken and rise, not even some vegetables? Pork and noodles was decent but pork was very hard and didn’t taste fresh. I do not recommend this place.
The last review written 11 moths ago exemplifies my most recent experience.This restaurant WAS excellent but they must have changed ownership or cooks- or both.I did not have a menu at home so I went to their web page and ordered from it.When I picked up my order and questioned my bill (ouch) she was very rude and advised that they had not gotten around to updating it and handed me a photo copy of the new proposed prices, turned her back and strode off.The batter on the Prawns was chewy to bullet-proof, the the finger-tip size boneless pork WAS bullet-proof, the pot stickers were tasteless and chewy (taffy chewy), the almond chicken batter was like the prawns’ batter and the order of won tun soup was just edible but a tiny portion for the outrageous price.I now remember why I did not have a menu at home – after the last time I ordered from this restaurant I threw the menu out!!!!
FOOD POISONING DO NOT EAT HEREWish i could rate this lower than a 1….Ordered the Cantonese Crispy noodle, it tasted foul as hell, upon smelling the shrimp i realized too late that it was beyond rotten. When i returned to ask for a refund – as i think its perfectly reasonable to not have to pay 12 dollars to end up with food poisoning , they circled around me like a gang and verbally insulted me, they had the audacity to actually go far as to deny that they cook this item there!!! And on top of it they insisted this item was old, and that we brought in some old food at a desperate attempt to get 12 dollars. Can you imagine this? They demanded the receipt, which of course they had neglected to give me in the first place.I find it Interesting that they had no problem remembering me in the past as i have ordered at this ‘establishment’ in the past but they magically couldn’t remember an order as far back as an hour ago! Ah, the joys of selective memory.So now, as you can imagine from a dose of bad shrimp, i have suffered through the worst case imaginable of food poisoning. It just isnt worth it people. Find another place, these chinese food joints are all over, save yourself from these crooks and their disgusting putrid microwaved food and dangerous food practices.Enjoy Gardens, if your reading this, i am getting in touch with a health inspector!
Awful. Must have changed owners or something. The food wasn’t bad but not great before, but then ordered again Feb 2014. It was greasy with no flavor. Hardly any pork in sweet and sour, all batter and grease. Pitt Meadows has 5 sushi restaurants and one Chinese restaurant. We usually drive to Maple Ridge for the Chinese buffet at China Kitchen, it’s better.
DON’t BOTHER. Below average food. Good service
Not too sure…. The food here doesn’t totally suck, but it’s not great either. the dcor is ugly and they have gotten my order wrong a few times. I question their food safety. ordered from here recently and saw one of the cooks openly coughing behind the counter…..hmmm. oh, and the fortune cookies taste weird now.. kinda like orange.
Nothing in Maple Ridge Compares…. So I DRIVE over to Pitt Meadows and pick up my orders(they won’t deliver to me because I live too far east). I have tried pretty much every Chinese Food joint in Maple Ridge and they are all great IF you like to take your chances with hit or miss orders. King’s Kitchen is a prime example…sometimes it’s okay, other times I’m sure I am eating the leftovers from the day before…I’ll pass. Enjoy Garden used to be in Maple Ridge and I wish they would come back, the food is always fresh, the veggies crisp, big portions, served up hot. I can see the cooks chopping away in the open kitchen and they are always ready with a smile. Good food and good value…why can’t we have this in Maple Ridge…why?
