It was my first time trying this place. We got 3 mini pastries and one regular mille fueille to try. Mm… I wasn’t very impressed with the pastries. The pastry sheets were hard and chewy (maybe a little stale?) on the mille fueille. The flan and chocolate eclair was just ok.. Nothing really extraordinary. The royal choco was pretty good. Hazelnut filling was smooth and addictive and there’s a crunch factor inside the cake. Friendly service.
This place is quite good. I love this kind of food though I try to avoid it as it’s not the healthiest. The service was great; friendly and efficient. The espresso was decent. I just wish the moneris machine had a tip option. I don’t understand why small businesses don’t do this; they are depriving their staff of income. The music was good too.
The mini pastries and little tarts are amazing! Pick up a random selection next time you offer to bring dessert- everyone will love them!The croissants and pain au raisin are good too, as are the baguettes, but I’m not a huge fan of the coffee they serve. Just try all the little tarts and mini slices- you won’t find better anywhere !
Inflated prices, what uuup?!?!?!
This place has gone downhill. We used to go to Baguette & Co all the time- it used to be really awesome. The lunch specials were super reasonably priced, and the dessert (particularly the almond croissants, hedgehog pie, and millefeuille were outstanding). HOWEVER, we have stopped going recently because we’ve found the quality control has significantly decreased. The almond croissants are pretty much always burnt, and sandwiches are inconsistent at best, and the pastry in the millefeuille is almost always overdone. That being said, the hedgehog pie has always been awesome. But we’re just too frustrated with the inconsistencies of the food and the lack of customer service to go back. We really hope that Baguette & Co turns itself around, because we’d really like to go back at some point and have a good experience.
Lovely authentic French pastries and good coffee too. Free wifi and reasonable prices. I ordered 3 mini pastries for $4 and had a cappuccino. Nice, clean atmosphere with jazzy music, Parisian prints, smoked glass bistro tables and red leather parsons chairs. Will def come back to try more as the prices are good and it’s got a nice vibe.
