I had high expectations for this establishment initially because of the diverse menu and I really appreciated the wide array of dining options… I soon found out that because they haven’t focused on any particular dish or theme… a lot of them are missing the mark. There were some great elements, like the tahini dressing on the salad: YUM. But the smoothies as well as many other aspects have yet to be mastered. I wish them the best of luck but this really wasn’t my favourite dining experience. Maybe they’ll find their focus over time.
Yummy kid-friendly cafe. We’ve been here twice and enjoyed it both times. The kids menu has healthy options at a very reasonable price. I especially like the option of a fresh fruit cup with the entree. We’ve sampled the sandwiches, waffles, pork-belly bao (we got a 2nd order they were so good), sous-vide eggs on toast, and all have been solid. We did have an issue of an order of waffles coming out super behind the rest of the stuff but the owner comp’d us with some passion fruit tarts, which were delish. We weren’t in a rush, so it was fine. We’ll go again for sure.
