Chill place. As a UBC student my friends and I are always looking for a chill place to split a few pitchers and get some good pub food that isn’t costly. Dentry’s is the PERFECT place for that. I came in a couple times as a fluke cuz my boyfriend lives in the neighbourhood and I was helping him move in. I would rather it be on campus but the places there don’t fit my student budget. I’m not Irish but it’s welcoming for everyone and the staff are students and always pretty nice and easy to talk to. It’s a good place for students and only a stop off of campus on the 99. We also get sponsorship pitchers cuz my boyfriend’s in Ski and Snowboard so if you’re involved in a club on campus talk to management, and wings are 36 cents on Wednesday!!!

Terrible experience. Our drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive, wings were cold and dry, almost as if they were precooked. The waitress never checked back on us, and was very forgetful. I will never come back here.
