We made reservation so we got to sit down right away. Its a busy place. Friendly service. Food portion is a bit small for the price. Pho definitely tastes different than usual. Richer soup base. The French fusion side was ok, nothing impressive. Worth a try but perhaps not purposely come back for another meal unless I am in the neighborhood.
Tolouse Breakfast is top notch. Sausage is delicious, buttery type sauce served with beans is perfect when letting your poached egg ooze all over it. Iced coffee good too. Woooooooo
I WOULD LOVE TO SAY THIS FRENCH COOKING VIETNAMESE RESTAURANT IS EXCELLENT!5 stars!!! Or 10 stars!! I tried so many Vietnamese restaurants but this one has been added theFrench cooking elements to the food. Even though it was a bowl of pho with beef, OH MY GOD! It was so good that I feel this Pho beats all the pho that I had tried in the past. The soup base was excellent with texture and added lots of green onions on top. My fianc finished the soup even though he had eaten the rice noodles and beef. The flavour of the soup base was unbelievable great that other pho had just so so soup base. I was NOT exaggerating. If you can eat spicy food, you can also add a little bit more chilli and garlic to the soup base. Wow what a great combination!! Also the spicy omelette sandwich was the best Vietnamese sandwich that I have ever had. I thought the ones out there I tried before was good but this one was the best!! I would definitely come back here and try other dishes. It doesn’t matter it is brunch or lunch or dinner! What did I not come here to eat the food earlier?!!
We came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning and we’re the first since opening. Before long, more folks came. We ordered from the breakfast menu – I had the Brittany Breakfast. The sauce was very flavorful, though a touch salty. The fish was cooked just right. Overall a good breakfast, though the dishes are not cheap
Not off to a good start when the waitress doesn’t smile and kinda looks pissed off while she takes our order. The menu items appear to be priced higher than what one would expect for Vietnamese food, so we were somewhat skeptical. Added to that, when the food arrived, some of the portions appeared quite small. However…. the food was REALLY good!Pork Rilettes Sandwich – Crispy baguette with creamy pulled pork filling. Not much to look at, but delicious.Pho Bo (Hanoi Breakfast) – A little different than what you get from other places, there’s no bean sprouts, mint, or basil here. But the broth is super beefy with slices of super tender beef. The bowl is big, but believe me, you’ll finish every drop. We saw a lot of these at other tables…Burger Challenge – When it arrived, we were alarmed at how small it was. Almost a slider. But to be fair, it was good, very good. I just wish it was normal sized for the price.Note* Every table is furnished with a large jar of chili. DO NOT mistake this for the sweet chili dipping sauce you get at other vietnamese restaurants. If you slop a spoonful into your food out of habit, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. It is not the same. This stuff’s fiery hot. Proceed with caution! Will we be back? I think so. The food may be more expensive, but every dish was absolutely delicious. Certainly a case of quality over quantity… and we think it was worth it.
100 for food! I enjoyed every single dish! Creamy mussels was the best! Can’t wait to come back to try this duck confit and short ribs! 60 for service.
decent service / slow at times when refilling watergood food/ French / Vietnamese cuisineparking can be a hassleover priced but worth it/ go with a group sp you can try everything/ really enjoyed their pho, northern Vietnam taste and no sauce required, but their chili is crazy spicy so go easy on it to start but something in it makes it quite addicting/ I recommend order the mini pho version so you can try other dishes/ haven’t tasted anything badIf I had to choose 1 dish: chicken liverwould i go back? Yes
