Biscuits were good. The rest was non-descript or worse. The pancakes were kind of raw in the middle. They had run out of tea (!) and also hamburgers. The place seems not well looked-after and the servers, though friendly, don’t seem to know about customer service. Disappointing
Social enterprise offers great good at very good prices. This new cafe in the basement of the Jericho International Hostel is a social enterprise run by the North Shore Culinary School and its director, Don Guthro. It’s open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is simple, superb, and reasonable. I’ve had the traditional breakfast, the omlette, and the salmon burger. Check it out and enjoy!
