Definitely one of the best East Indian restaurants in the region. Fairly generous servings at a reasonable price, giving good value for the money. Weve been there three times and have yet to be disappointed. The staff are friendly and accommodating. We especially like the Traditional Curry dish with lamb, the Bhindi Bhaji Okra vegetarian dish, the papadums (made right there on the spot) and the rather fancy Rice Pilau. The Chai tea, served in a generous-sized teapot that would actually serve two, is delicious. The garlic Naans are OK, although weve had better elsewhere (a little bit too doughy to my liking, like they arent quite fully cooked despite looking like they are on the outside). Not fussy about the Vegetable Korma either, but thats just a matter of our expectation of what we thought it would be based on the menu description, not anything to do with quality.

Ordered the lamb curry and Vegetable Vindaloo.The lamb had no flavor, it must not have been fresh because I could have sworn i was eating beef. Its like they boiled the meat and just added the curry sauce on top.The Vegetable Vindaloo was just huge pieces of carrots, potatoes and some other vegetable that was awful. It was like no love was put into the cooking.I also heard the cheesecakes were amazing, but after the dinner I decided if i wanted cheesecake I wouldnt come to an indian restaurant for it.Service was great so i gave a 2/5. Maybe if I ordered something else it might have been better. But then again every item on the menu should be top quality.The Food God
