Mr. Lunch is an outstanding place for breakfast or lunch or both! Fresh baked muffins every morning (my favourite is apple crumble) as well as a varied breakfast menu including a very fine Denver sandwich. Lunch also has a varied menu as well as daily specials including Taco Tuesdays and my personal favourite which is the VERY BEST BEEF DIP I have had. James and Tara are there at 7:00 a.m. to greet you with a smile and offer fast, friendly service. I highly recommend that you give Mr. lunch a try – you won’t be disappointed!!

The food is fresh and delicious with perfect portions! The turkey club is the best I have ever had! I highly recommend this little shop to anyone looking for a delicious and hearty breakfast or lunch.
Have always enjoyed this place, and now that it’s under new ownership with the new name of Mr. Lunch it’s even better than before! All the food is fresh and prepared to excellence. Definitely one of the best industrial park lunch spots around! You get a much better sandwich here than you would from a fast food joint. Highly recommend!
Extremely overpriced for the portions and quality. The sandwiches really mediocre made with the cheapest bread, the potato salad bland. No free WiFi which is a standard everywhere now.
Love their soups!!. This place is amazing! Don’t let the location or decor fool you, this place has Gastown quality soups and sandwiches! I live in the neighbourhood and have become a regular! The soups are the best I’ve tasted in a caf, not too salty nor too watery. My favourite is their jalapeo corn chowder and baked potato, and tomato basil, and actually I love all of them! My BBQ chicken sub came on a long sub with an amazing sauce, (haven’t been able to find the sauce anywhere in retail stores) and never gets boring. If sliced bread sandwiches aren’t your thing when eating out, they have a whole selection of made to order subs! All in all, the owners do a great job and the service is also top notch!
Home made AMAZING. I was traveling from Los Angeles and was in the area and was told from both friends and colleagues in the film industry that I MUST make a stop at Dagwood’s. I was told the best homemade soups, sandwiches and the best muffins… not only in town but anywhere… And Dagwood’s sure lived up to the reputation. The soup was so flavorful and you could tell that it was made homemade from scratch, none of that package stuff. The turkey they use is real roasted turkey, they were actually taking a turkey out of the oven when I walked in. I highly recommend Dagwood’s for anyone in the area, and if not, then you must make a special stop. Portion sizes are perfect, quality is outstanding and the customer service is top notch! Very friendly, family-owned business.
Best Soup Hands Down. I am so excited that fall is upon us so that people won’t make fun of me for craving dagwoods soup every day. Highly recommend the jalepeno corn chowder and shrimp jumbo – I always take some to go for delicious left overs! And I agree that the apple muffins are definately addictive crack muffins… I just can’t get sick of them.
