Love the made on the spot pita. Way better than the bagged pita bread at all the other donair spots. I go out of my way to come here rather than stop at any other donair spot. Owner is friendly and always smiling. Portions are good and the prices are low. The mega size are quite a bit more expensive than the mid grade size so I’ve never ordered it but they must be huge.
went there on a dinner that’s unplanned, came in to the store, and the place is definitely warm, and the place is trully out of nowhere, but around the area there are manh hidden gems and hole in the wall type of restaurants which is good.hopefully this is one of the hidden gem as well. and so ordered the rice platter with lamb, on the lamv i had the garlic sauce whih is sweet, but not overwhelmingly sweet whih goes well with the lamb as it’s a slightly more on the salty side and it does really bring out a good taste 🙂 and the bread is made from fresh as i see the person personally use hand to take it out from the big chunk of dough, they made the bread into two kinds, one of the fluffier side and the other one is on the thinner/crispier side love both ofnit as it’s very delicous even though it’s only a bread. and so as for the salad i have tzaitiki dressing, it’s yogurt based, and it taste more plain but i think it goes well with the salad 🙂 and i also got the humus on the side which taste incredible and i’m dipping my bread with humus, i’m definitely coming back. as for the rice, it’s rice and they cooked it well, more on the hard type instead of soft rice. and as for the chicken wrap, the chicken packs much flavor and spices as well. as for the portions and price i’m very happy about it as well, they do give a lot of meat 🙂 service from staff and owner super great as well :)overall, i will definitely recommend this place and will definitely come back 🙂 mangkr.wordpress.com
Amazing, best donair’s i’ve ever had in my life. they make the pitas right in the shop and the mega donair is outrageous in size, well worth the price of 12$, its a full days worth of food, i don’t know how i managed to finish mine in a half hour. oh ya, because it was amazing. if you haven’t been yet, go now!
This is our second time going there ! Gonna keep this short and sweet : the mega donair is one of the best donairs in Vancouver !!! The lady and her husband are so lovely ! The pita is made fresh from scratch ! The mega donair size is satisfying for meat lovers ! Highly hughly recommended !
Excellent food. The best Donair Kabob I have eaten, fresh bread baked by the chef and the quality and amount of meat he puts in your either sandwich or platter is just unbelievable I have not seen this anywhere else, I highly recommend this friendly restaurant to Donair lovers.
Best donairs in Vancouver. 10/10 service, pitas are fresh and delicious, and the donairs are some of the best we’ve had. Definitely would recommend to anyone cruising through Coquitlam.
