Delicious roti! Definitely appreciated that all the Roti are boneless as sometimes it’s a pain to pick through them. Rehanah seems to do a brisk trade as a one woman operation. Definitely worth it for a delicious lunch. Remember to bring cash as they don’t take card.
Amazing. The last review is 100% true, this is a one woman show and of she isn’t busy or runs out of food, she closes down. I for one feel lucky when I am in the area and she is open. This place is definitely a favorite of mine and you definitely need to try it. authentic flavors and very tender beef. I can never get sick of this place!
Amazingly good.. It’s a hole in the wall. It’s not super cheap and there’s not much room inside. The tables are rickety. The food tho. Goat and shrimp roti is well absolutely off the charts good. Well all the rotis I’ve tried are just amazing. So are the doubles . I mean I had no idea what doubes were. They are a pastry that’s fried with a Realy amazing texture and flavor. I think they must be made with graham flour. They are stuffed with a chickpea filling with a spicy sweet sauce. The Jamaican style patties are the best ive tried. The rotis are the hot item here tho. They are quite large and the roti is made fresh. The filling is quite spicy you are given the option of how hot you’d like it. Here hot means really hot. Scotch bonnet hot so be warned. There’s some imported pops in the fridge . This place is a hole in the wall it’s off the radar but people who know will drive from a long way away for the food.
Like this place. I’m not a regular customer, however, since discovering this place.Their food was delicious ( I’ve only tried the shrimp, it was very delicious!) and staffs were very kind and unpretentious…
Absolutely awesome! The r…. Absolutely awesome! The roti is delicious, and the prawns are properly cooked. The owner and her waitress are very sweet and will often go out of there way for you.For example, today (Xmas Eve) she was closed, but had some catering to do. I walked in to see if maybe the sign was wrong as I’d seen people in there earlier, and she made me 2 rotis anyway!Very happy to have found this gem.
I really love the roti. My husband is from Trinidad & Tobago, so we buy roti quite often. My favorite is goat roti (hot). The sauce is delicious, i love spicy food. The place is very small but you can enjoy your roti anywhere. Rehanah is a really nice lady as well.
Home sweet home. My parents are from Trinidad and this place is a welcome oasis for me. LOVE it!
