Very Unprofessional, no responsibility towards customer’s. I have heard about the place being good so finally decided to try it out. I thought of ordering for a delivery. I orders Paneer Masala and Shahi Paneer but they said that delivery is free with minimum order of $ 40, so I ordered Chicken Curry and Aloo Parotha ($ 1.99), the lady who was taking the ordered said it’s still not $ 40 and suggested me to ordered one more Aloo Parotha but I ended up ordering One Bhatura ($ 1.49). The delivery men made some error while bringing and the curry was spilled inside the package and all was oily. Since I am a vegetarian and I ordered Chicken for my roommate, I told him to replace them as due to the delivery boy’s mistake the chicken curry was mixed with other two, so I send him back. He returned after 15 min I took the food. When I opened the Package they send me Shaag Paneer (Palak Paneer) instead of Shahi Paneer and they also didn’t send the Aloo Parotha. When I called them back some other lady picked up and told Aloo parotha was not returned in my ordered and the delivery men charge $ 5 for each delivery (why do the customer have to deal with they end up paying $ 10 contrary it was delivery men’s mistake.) I said Ok and turn off the call. I checked the bill Aloo parotha was not in there but the total bill was $ 40.48 if I add my other order it will be 34.46 + taxes. I called them back and asked if it was $ 6 tax charge to my bill. The lady didn’t answered me and said they will send an Aloo Parotha delivery later and that later never came, moreover I haven’t complain about the Curry which they replaced as I do understand human errors happen but it really very unprofessional. I didn’t called them back as it’s stressful to deal with such stuff and I don’t have time too.

Yuck!!. We ordered from here because Aruntha’s Ceylon Garden was closed…..should have just made kraft dinner! The Butter Chicken tasted like one of those jars of butter chicken sauce you buy at the grocery store. I ordered it spicy but it definitely wasn’t. The chicken was rubbery and tasted funny. The Roti bread was…..nothing special. And it was twice the cost!! Never again!!

Good. I enjoyed my experience at Dana Mandi. The food was delicious, and very filling. I had leftovers for lunch the next day. The service was great. And the food didn’t take too long. I will defiently be going back again, soon.

Two thumbs up. I was skeptical at first. PG isn’t exactly known for its ethnic cuisine. I’ve tried Indian food across Canada and Dana Mandi is on par with with restaurants I’ve tried in Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto. From the moment you walk you are greeted with sweet, spicy smells emanating from the kitchen. We ordered the chefs special for take out and were very pleasantly surprised. For 40 $ you get 4 great dishes and dessert. It was only two of us enjoying the food, but there was enough for 4. Oh well, looks like we both get to make our colleagues jealous tomorrow at lunch. Will definitely be ordering from there again.

I am Indian and love to try Indian food. Last night I have had the Worst Vegetable Jalfrezie I have ever had in Canada. Never seen a Broccoli in that dish before and all the vegetables were uncooked & chopped too big. Maybe will give them another chance while I am in PG.
