Ew. (2/5) At the risk of …. Ew. (2/5)At the risk of sounding like a dick, this is a typical Chinese-Food-because-we-can style place. Not because they can cook great Chinese good or because they want to offer a different style than every other place in town. Honey garlic pork is terrible. Syrupy and cheap. I am starting to think that everyone is buying the same dumpy honey garlic pork and selling it because this place, China Sail, Sooo Good, et all seem to have the exact same thing. Skip this place. It’s nothing special, food tasted not fresh and this place seemed slightly more expensive than it’s competition with nothing to show for the higher price.
After reading the reviews we thought we’d give the buffet a try, despite the fact that the parking lot was deserted. The food in the buffet had been sitting so long that the sauces had congealed and the noodles were crunchy. My husband asked for some fresh food, and the waitress (whom I assume is the owner) just stirred it around. Someone came out and put some fresher food on top of the old food and all hope was lost. We cut our losses and left. Would NEVER recommend this experience to anyone else!
Underrated Gem!. I signed up just to post a review on this restaurant. New Asia is clean, the staff was extremely friendly and the buffet was surprisingly big. Prices were fair. Food seemed fresh. I cannot say enough good things about this little gem of a Chinese food place in town. I had frequented all of the other ‘big name’ places in town and wish I had found out about this place sooner. The honey garlic pork was the best I had ever eaten (As far as buffet’s go). I 100% recommend you give New Asia restaurant at least one try. It was slow there when I went, so I hope this review will at least be read by a few people!
Tasty take out. I always order the crispy salt and pepper pork, hong kong chow mien and lettuce wraps. It’s tasty and delicious each and every time.
Chicken chow mien sucks nothing but noodle
Very bland food, they only filled their buffet when people complained and even then only brought out small amounts of some foods.
