Not bad fish. This is one of my dads favourite places to go when he’s out visiting. Though the fries are limp and soggy a lot of the time, the fish and fantastic service make up for it. This is personally my second favourite fish place.
Friday August 16th. My friend treated me to lunch this past Friday at C-Lovers – it was absolutely the worst meal I have every tried to digest – we both had the once piece halibut and chips – and a medium onion rings – everything was so greasy it was horrible – when we bit into the onion rings and the fish – the oil was literally spurting out – the chips were limp and tasteless. This USED to be the go to place for good Fish and Chips – not anymore – not only that – the place needs to shut down for one day and do an extensive cleaning – it is filthy. It needs a thorough cleaning from the booths to the walls and pictures .Where are the health inspectors? I have since learned that many of our friends no longer eat at C-Lovers.

Fried, fried, fried.. Other than the salads, there is nothing here that isn’t deep fried and greasy.Fries are disgusting in texture and appearance, though the flavour is is on the lower scale of adequate with enough vinegar.The fish is on par with any other fish & chips place, but more expensive.Service is friendly.Do your cardiovascular system a favour and give this one a pass.

I don’t eat fish at all, except for here. That should enough to get you to go, it’s great, tons of fries come with the fish and great tartar sauce. Be prepared to wait. Always busy,
