Healthy? Yes.. If you want healthy good food this is the place. I had the ham and cheese and vegetable beef soup. Good taste but the kaiser was dry. What I am disapointed in was the price. My daughters had same ham and cheese but on white bread, no condiments or vegetables and it was pretty expensive. For the price, I thought it would be better. As for the service our 3 orders came at different times.

This place is AWESOME. Especially if your Dutch.. Chilliwack is sorely lacking in unique, original, flavour. But Hofstede’s is one place where you can definitely find all that and more. The owner is gregarious to say the least and is probably Chilliwack’s most notorious personality. The food in the deli is always delicious and it’s almost impossible to not have a great time.
The lunch here is fantastic! The soups are great, the salads are great, everything is made fresh from local produce. The staff are awesome, very friendly.
