I have been a customer since 2011 & my father and I used to come in all the time for simply; Beef&Gailan, steamed rice, and the szechuan chicken. The food reminds me more of authentic chinese food just like China town in so many ways. Being Caucasian, my family & I have dined most of our lives with different asian families and appreciate the different cultural foods and tastes. So Moonlily was a great discovery especially because we realized it was just down the street and They DON’T add MSG to their food, so you don’t have to worry about getting headaches or feeling gross due to the added flavourings. The family has been in business making the same fresh food 7 years on Vedder road & then before that time in 100 Mile with the same food for many years. ~The great thing about their food is the freshness and consistency.It is a very busy business & well worth the wait on busy days. It isn’t a Seafood restaurant so they can only carry so much Squid. I suggest reserving ahead of time: Squid, Lemon Chicken, Deep Fried Wontons, & also Lettuce Wraps. They sell out very quick for these particular dishes when it is busy. Think of it, Small restaurant, Busy kitchen…Some dishes aren’t available for the evening that you crave it for that reason. An important thing to note; If the grocery store costs for food are going up, any restaurant would have to consider their costs as well in order to make sure they are making money still; That just happens here and there. Extra costs would be toward then; Meat, certain sauces, and customizing your own dishes. I respect that because example: they make their honey garlic sauce on site and other things. So the freshness is worth it. It really is decent pricing and the portions are great. You get 10% off when you PICKUP orders when it reaches 25 dollars BEFORE tax. & Delivery can also be very busy but they do their best. And lastly! The family is wonderful & hard working.It’s a Gem to have in Sardis for asian food lovers. A great Date Night place! We love Moonlily.Cheers!
