I’ve been to lots, I really mean lots of sushi restaurants across Canada. This place has the best sushi rice I’ve ever had. They are not salty, vinegary or refrigerated. They are fresh, warm and just the best tasting sushi rice.Sushi in general are above average. I would just go here to eat their rice. They also have healthy rice options.
I went to Sushi Nabi on Wed Oct 21st 2015 . I asked the waitress what was in the prawn tempura roll because every restaurant does it different. She was clueless, she asked the chef and after a bit they said just prawn, very different because all the other restaurants give cucumber veggies avocado etc. I ordered the avocado roll instead. It was Ok but everything on the menu was overpriced. Chances are I won’t be back.
We frequent here a few times a month, we have tried many sushi places in town and Sushi Nabi is by far both mine and my Hubby’s favourite! Great quality food, service and staff!
Best sushi place in town !!!!. So many sushi places in chilliwack but this one is the best by far. Much better quality than any of the other ones in town. I’ve never had bad service there and I’ve been going there since they opened, and they’ve actually improved the quality the longer they’ve been opened… They also have some of the kindest owners. 11/10 for rolls, yakisoba and udon. Everytime I order yakisoba from anywhere else I always regret not having gone to nabi. Also I usually find people that complain about the service are the same people that nobody likes to serve in the first place. In a small place you can hear when people order like snobs and then they wonder why the waitress isnt all smiles when they return to their table. Like I said I’ve never had bad service in all the years Ive been going there…. Then again I usually don’t have to complain about service anywhere… Maybe because I’m polite to begin with.
I recommend Sushi Nabi to anyone who appreciates quality. I have ate sushi at many restaurants in Canada and the USA and i have to say that Sushi Nabi ranks among the top 3 best sushi restaurants I have visited.The fish is very high grade whether sashimi or as part of a roll. The veggies are crisp and fresh and presentation is artistic and appealing.Now the service…The waitress is quiet yet highly competent which is key for the food service industry. She doesn’t annoy with any fake friendliness like the Earls Girls who are just out for tips and often forget some part of the order. She is genuine and was fully capable of explaining the ingredients and complexity within the offering.
Me and my boyfriend went there today and it was great !! We had the Godzilla roll and it was amazing, the tempura was really good too ! The waitress was kind of quiet but not rude, she was rather polite. I will definitely be going back there again !!
Horrible Service. So I thought it was high time I tell the story of my experience at this restaurant. Me and my friends are sushi crazy, we love it and I have been eating sushi since I was a toddler.When this place opened up we were excited for a new sushi place to go to, and for a while the sushi was up to par with what we expected. The sushi was great, the prices were great, but after a few months, they hired some new waitresses and that is what ruined this place for us.The waitress in particular was white and young and when we came in to eat, she would be curt and rude. Not asking us how we were or even smiling at us. When we would be looking through the menu she would come and bug us every 5 mins to see if we were ready.Then when we would get our food , even though it would just be us in the restaurant she wouldn’t take our dishes when we were done, even when she was bringing more food. She wouldn’t even ask us how it was and it would take us looking at her while she would be standing there looking at us, well more like glaring?, before she would bring us the check.There was also the last time we went we were waiting for our check, the waitress WAS HAVING HER LUNCH! Having lunch is okay but still check on the customers??? Like she was stuffing her gob for like 20 mins.Me and my friends work in the food industry so we KNOW how a waitress is supposed to act to customers and the way we were treated made sure we would never come back .
