Rude!!!!. Tried to place a take-out order over the phone and the man who answered said he was too busy to take my order and hung up on me.
Tulip donair new owners. The quality and freshness is great. Top donair was awful. Give this place a try and support local business. Awesome owners and authentic great donairs at tulip donair.
New name: Tulip Donair. Shop has again a new owner. New name is Tulip Donair. Today I really enjoyed their beef donair. Lot’s of tasty meat and large choice of stuff you can add like olives, croutons, cheese, mushrooms, etc etcRecommended. Way better than Donair Top
So good!. We just discovered Donair Top a few weeks ago and we’ve eaten there several times since. It’s so good! The Donairs are huge and very tasty.
This mediocre donair gave both of us a tummy ache and my husband had been in the bathroom for the last hour. I highly doubt we will ever back or recommend it
Donair top is no where near the quality and qunatity that Peggi’s was. I stepped into Donair top took one look at the menu laughed And walked out. They took over the look that Peggi had for her shop. Wrecked a good business
Perhaps It Needs Time?. I went to this place when it was still Peggy’s Donair, and enjoyed it enough to return a few months later. My second visit was a couple of months ago, so I’m hoping that with time there have been improvements. The Service:The service was fine, considering. There was only one person working, and she seem rushed, but was polite and got to us quickly enough. The Food: Here lies the problem. I ordered the donair poutine, and was startled to recieve it with very little cheese, despite having ordered the double cheese. Furthermore, the curds were cold. It doesn’t seem terrible, but the result was a very unpleasant, cold meal. I ate it anyway, feeling that perhaps I’d ordered something besides what I had wanted, but after leaving I realised that I had indeed ordered what I’d thought – it just wasn’t properly made. I’m not sure if it was because of the server (who also prepared the food and was, again, seeming quite rushed) or because that’s just how it was done. The Atmosphere: Very casual and open. I like the decor, which has a vaguely nautical theme, and there is a nice selection of newspapers to peruse while one eats.I feel that the quality of food and service has gone downhill since Peggy’s Donair became Donair Top. It seems to me that it’s the result of inexperienced management, so hopefully things will improve over time. I will probably return in a few months just to check it out, and with luck will write another, more positive review.
