November, 2018I feel like to have teen burger combo for dinner tonight. The cashier , who took my order was totally space out.. tried to charge me $4 more for yam fries , instead of regular fries .. non stop keep pressing $3.99 4 times??!!… its end up… drive thu cashier help me to fix it..
A&w is really stepping it’s game up. Everytime I come here everything is fresh and hot. Mobile bandit has some good deals for this place, much cheaper than their mailed out coupons. Teen burgers and buddy chicken burgers are my go to. Also their apple pies are amazing.
Our visit this evening. As we were waiting for our food, we were wondering why the trainee (the younger girl) was wearing a hair net and the other 3 Asian female workers (2 in the kitchen) were not? My main concern is when one of the Asian girl on the left (facing cashier) in the kitchen stirring the pot, USED HER TEETH TO OPEN THE SMALL POUCH OF FOOD ITEM THAT WAS TOSSED IN POT. SHE & I MADE EYE CONTACT, BUT SHE CARRIED ON AS IF SHE DID NOTHING WRONG. THAT IS THE MOST DISGUSTING ACT WHILE BEING IN THE KITCHEN & SHOW’S PURE LAZINESS TO USE A KNIFE OR SCISSORS TO OPEN THE POUCH. What if she had a cold OR SOMETHING? The food coming in contact with her germs/saliva on pouch would make other patrons sick. I feel we had to report this & hopefully Management will take this seriously to retrain these employees. Makes us not want to return to this location due to this employee not taking pride of their job to provide a healthy environment for their patrons. Would be even more surprising if one of those workers was a SUPERVISOR on that shift. A&W will think it’s no big deal (typical mgmt.), fast food chains are all the same. Slap on the wrist & try to compensate with coupons & a free meal.
Disapointed. I have been a long time customer of A&W and have really been impressed with their recent campaign of better quality food. I live near the Queensborough location and my family and I eat there at least twice a month (more when I don’t feel like cooking). We all enjoy the food and have never had an issue with it. My problem is with the customer service. The last time I bought food there, 2 Uncle meals and 2 Teen meals I was shorted an order of fries. Not really a big deal, but I wasn’t about to drive back and let my food get cold to deal with it at the time. On my next visit, ordering 4 Chubby meals at $30.00, I told the server that I had been shorted on the last visit. Her response was that she would make sure they were all there this time. When I noted that I had paid for the item and did not receive it last time she told me that I had to call or come in when it happened and then bring back a receipt. Really? Every other place would have just dealt with it, it’s a friggin order of fries. It really doesn’t have anything to do with the money, just the principle. Order cancelled and one less customer for them to worry about now. Very sad, as I do think they have the best fast food burgers around nowadays.
MOLDY BREAD. I got Moldy bread in my breakfast this morning!! I tried calling them to let them know and there was no answer. Yesterday I had fingers through 2 pieces of toast. I won’t be finding out what tomorrow will bring.
