Atmosphere is great on the weekend with a live band.. some nights better than other due to some sound technical issues. Decor and lay out is great for watching the games. Appetizers were done well. I was no impressed with my server (no kind welcoming, smiling and felt that she just wanted to go home).

Just went to the location in Edmonton for lunch at the Grand Villa Casino in Rogers Place. Sorry cannot find that location to review as it just opened. Was looking forward to the Chicken and Waffles…Sandwich. I did not realize it was a sandwich when ordering. I understand what they are trying to do but it just does not work.First of all the waffle was cold. As soon as you pick it up it totally falls apart. If it is served as a sandwich, one should be able to eat it as such. Even afterwards eating with a fork and knife the waffle really does not stay together. The aioli just drips off since it was too runny. The flavour profile is really good though. And the side of fries it comes with was just very small bits and ends of fries if one can call it that…those little pieces that drops to the bottom of a bag or something, no real substance to try and eat. The bartender who took our order never came back. Only after speaking with another server or a food runner that was taking away our plates, asked to fill out a survey and she said she would just get me a blank piece of paper. But after telling her my concerns Luis the manager came by. In the end he really appreciated my concerns and got me another order but again the same thing. He was the only good thing about Match.I only like to write reviews when it is bad, usually do not complain too much, even though this seems as such lol. I will not be going back.If someone wants the best chicken and waffles, go check out Hash House A Go Go, sage chicken with fried leeks, the best…and you better be hungry as you get four pieces of waffles with the bacon infused right in it with two massive pieces of chicken for $16 in the States!Hopefully the location in Edmonton will work out their issues and become better. I still gave the bartender a nice tip!

Lunch with friends at Match. A large restaurant with a variety of seating. I chose the fish and chips. The fish was cod and although the batter was crunchy and tasty the fish was mushy. Rainbowcrab had one of the brunch specials of eggs bacon and hasbrowns. Nothing special. I’m not sure we would return as there are better options out there.

I had a great experience when my friends and I ate at this restaurant. The staff are very approchable and the assistant manager Bon was really nice as he visited our table to check how the food was. I definitely recommend this restaurant 🙂

One of the best spots to watch sports games. It’s huge with greats views of tvs anywhere you sit. The food was on the better side of bar food but atmosphere and service was great. Plus you have the option to drink or gamble after your meal. Great hangout spot for friends night out! The beet salad with my black and blue burger was delicious!

In for lunch today, Sunday. Great service and good value in regular menu items and daily specials. Did not have the $10 brunch items but all looked great going out. Had chicken and waffles sandwich. Waffle as a bun could have been crispier but chicken was moist and well seasoned. Fish and chips was nice but accompanying coleslaw needs work. Big space with lots of screens to keep you occupied.
