One word – Bad.This place was close to us and we were craving pho and hopeful. I mean, even chain restuaunts have decent pho. You cant mess up with the help of MSG, right? Yeah No. Walking in there were two tables, at least it wasnt empty! The space is spacious, with plenty of seating available. Server was behind the till and motioned us to sit anywhere, once seated he came over with tea and menus. Standard asian service, no complaints there. One large Pho Dac Biet, and one extra large.A plate of decent amount of bean sprouts and herbs were brought to us as soon as our orders were placed. I even commented on how generous they were since most places only give you like a branch with 3 leaves. But as the main show arrived I quickly regretted on using the word generous. The pho, so sad. How do you serve pho without green onions? I mean honestly, Ive dined with picky eaters who request their bowl without green onions but Ive never ever had to request green onions to be IN my pho.The smell of the broth was strong, but tasteless. Watered down, and in much need of salt. It was basically colored hot water. So for any newbies, Dac Biet means Special or Super , when it comes to pho. Most restuaunts would have a mix of rare slices of steak, brisket, flank, tendon, tripe and meatballs. In both bowls (the large and extra large), there was a strand of tripe and a cube of tendon.Like on the previous reviews stated, there is an abundant amount of noodles. Bottomless amount! The only difference between both bowls once that the extra large had more noodles. Cheaped out on mean, taste, and friggen green onions.Pho Express is not a place to go if you want delicious pho. Its not even a place to go for sub par pho. Just dont go here.****We also ordered the fresh rolls with beef. The vermicelli inside was cold and hard, the rice paper was warm, the beef was decent. Not a good bite overall.

Tasteless food. We went there for their #45 lemongrass pork chop/ chicken/ shredded pork and egg on rice.. they used regular rice instead of traditional broken rice base. their pork chop and chicken can’t taste any lemongrass at all, just oily. we also tried their small bowl of noodles $7, it’s half size of regular small as another restaurant. the soup base can’t taste any beef bones, just only taste oil and chicken stock. won’t go there again.
