My boyfriend & I finally decided to try this place one night (we were never really motivated to try it out because it looks pretty empty every time we pass by). We were also skeptical by how diverse the menu looked (they serve greek, american, indian and so on). However, we were pleasantly surprised by the positive experience we had here. We ordered the Kalamari dinner and lamb souvlaki and we were blown away by how big the portions were. I have nothing but great things to say about the Kalamari. The lamb souvlaki was a little dry so we probably wouldn’t order that again. Service was friendly, and we will definitely be back to try other items on their menu.
Nice place, lunch menu is reasonably priced, in and out in under half hour. Had the spaghetti, sauce was thick and stuck to the noodles. I will return.
My husband and I live in the Queensborough area and we’re wanting to go for dinner! The only options in our area seem to be fast food restaurants although I recalled seeing the Rozzinis sign near Walmart and suggested to my husband that we check it out. I was somewhat skeptical because the restaurant is situated in sort of a dead end area and thought that maybe the food wouldn’t be that great because of the little traffic flow! Arrived at the restaurant, very clean inviting atmosphere and we were greeted and seated immediately. Very efficient in taking our drink and food orders, I was craving Greek food so I had the chicken souvlaki and my husband had a small lasagna which amazingly was a very large portion smothered in cheese and then baked, my chicken was tender, rice and potatoes were really good and the tzatziki was very garlicky! So glad we tried it, all in all a great experience and not expensive at all!
This restaurant is a bit out in the middle of no where … but be clear about one thing … the Friday lunch buffet is a winner for $12. Has some salad, fresh fruits, pizza, stir fry, fish pakora, butter chicken, naan, rice etc. They regularly change up the servings too so keeps things new for those of us that come back regularly. I’ve found ribs, tandoori chicken, flank steak with noodles etc. at the buffet station on occasions. Since TheMAN does no greens, you will have to take my wife and daughters’ word that the salad and fruits are super fresh. All I can tell you is the fish, ribs, beef, chicken and pizza keeps TheMAN smiling here. We’ve been back for dinner ordering off the menu and also for takeout. The Greek food is ok. The pizza is fantastic. But it’s the Friday lunch buffet that keeps bringing me back. Too bad it’s only for that day as most people are at work during that time. I’ve had to take days off work just in order to come here. But it’s worth it for TheMAN.
Nice local option. We had great service. Butter chicken is good. Rice is so so. Pizza was great and a great price, too. Buffet is fabulous value.
Family place, relaxed, lots of choice. Great service, lots of choice and again GREAT SERVICE! Food was standard yet a very homey feel, sit down and smile and you will be taken care of. The place tries to mix it up, i.e. wine tastings, specials, buffets. Support your local businesses people and RELAX or suffer the fate of Wal-Mart big boxes. Thank you Rozzini’s for the personalized approach!
Awful. My wife just had a few small very thin cut lamb chops with rozzinis version of Greek rice, uncle Bens covered in oil with bits of mint. I had a meatlovers pizza that was made with cheap lunch meat and Ragu sauce. Cumin on everything. this was absolutely horrible. I will never, ever eat there again no matter what. I had what was supposed to be a pale ale tgat came out dark brown and tasted spicy, my wife had an OJ ant the bill was 45 bucks. 5:30 on a Friday night, we’re the only 2 customers in this warehouse like room and not one of the four servers was watching our table. LMAO, good luck Rozzini
