They have good tasting tacos here but not my fave… its hubbys fave tacos but for me Taco Time is still better and cheap lol. What I like about them is their serving size – generous serving 🙂
Burrito/Mondito. Yumm! I like this alternative to the burger or quick drive throughs in the area. Fills you up and I like the menu options. Also can have a beer if you choose.
Just fyi…Have been to Mexico numerous times in non tourist areas, where the best taco I ever had was from a street vendor and had the authentic beef cut in thin strips, homemade salsa and soft corn tortilla. So when I stopped at Taco Del Mar on the spur of the moment, I wasn’t expecting much. Ordered two ordinary hard shell tacos to go. (The only staff member was courteous, efficient, funny and quick.) Got in the car to leave but so hungry had a bite of one…15mins later, both tacos were gone! Excellent seasoning, fresh, piping hot and cheap. Even though it was ground beef and canadian/mex fast food, it was delicious! Very impressed. Have been wanting to go back ever since. Perhaps tomorrow 😉
