A bad night I guess. We have ordered here regularly as it is local and has been a top three Asian Restaurant for us. Simple fair (BBQ pork, pork fried rice, lemon chicken, deep fried prawns, beef and black bean sauce). Boneless pork was cooked to the point of burned in flavour. The batter on the prawns, pork and chicken was just rubber – like the fryer was 150 degrees too cold. The rice and beef were the only redeeming factors. 5 simple dishes here is pushing $100 with tip and this was simply unpalatable. I write this as it is a trend over the past few months. Time for a new regular, I guess. We miss the old you.
Ordered here a few times- was the place that my boyfriend’s family always used to order Chinese food. We have since found a better place but if that ever closed down, this would be our second pick. Szechuan green beans and ginger beef are a fave but you do end up with a bit of a greasy feeling after. Good enough to recommend to people if in the immediate area.
