Good service, hardy portions, delicious noodle bowl. Back on Big White for the weekend, decided to try a few other places. Sante was recommended to me by a friendly chap on the chair lift. He certainly got it right. We had a very good lunch. My noodle bowl was spicy and filling and my partner loved his burger and it was very large. Given his appetite, he was thrilled to see it.
Great meal and service on our first night in town. The servings were on the large size but very welcome – we were hungry! Hit burger night on Sunday. Tuna burger delicious! Great selection.
Awful Food Blah Burgers . Great service too bad kitchen doesn’t know how to cook. And expensive $16 for a burger and fries expected alot more. Caesar Dressing had no taste and only got about a cup of romaine.13 Jan, 2013Awful Burgers Blah Salads Bad Value. When we walked in and it was dead we were confused. We’ve been going to this restaurant for years. But a name change and kitchen staff is not a good thing in this case. They were known for their amazing burgers so even though the price had gone up to $16 for one we figured we’re here let’s do it. Mistake. Blah pasty burger with a Costco Bun. My chicken burger was a steamed white patty that was infused with salt and lacked any other flavor. My husband s beef burger was just as bad. If it touched the grill then it was only for the grill marks. Save your $ and eat elsewhere on the hill. Snowshoe Sam’s just got two more customers.
Great Meal on the Hill. Had an amazing dinner with friends there, was impressed with the Hot Apple and Brie dip and the Onion rings, wanted to come back for more of the poutine! (so many choices…they all looked awesome!!) Was served by Elly and Melanie and both were spectacular!! Will go back as much for the food as i will the service
Was pretty disappointed- got the wrong steak- certainly didn’t ask for a flat iron steak- didn’t get extras I asked for. Steak wasn’t cooked to requirements- pretty flavorless. Went back to give the restaurant another chance after a disappointment- but sadly disappointed once again.
BEST GEM OF A BURGER EVER!. We LOVE Sante’s burgers! The Gem lake burger is our all time fav but have to heard great reviews on them all. A group of ten of my family/friends went in Dec 31 and even though it was crazy busy the service and food was excellent! We’ve been back twice since, once for evening drinks and again the next day for burgers at the busy lunch hour. We’ll continue to keep this as one of our favourite’s!
BEST LUNCH EVER…. We ate at Sante Bar and Grille three times in the New Year Period and we can honestly say we had the best lunch EVER. Their burgers are amazing. Fantastic fries. The dill/yoghurt dressing is the best dressing we have ever put on a salad. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back. 100% fully recommended…..
