  I forgot to review this place. That’s how good it is 😉 I had a burger and fries. The patty was burned to a crisp. Dry as hell and tasted like crap. I didn’t like the bun either. The fries weren’t even good. Super dry. I don’t like ketchup but I needed to use it so I didn’t choke on them. (I always finish my meal). Why do people come here?

  My partner and I were here on a Friday and had to wait close to an hour for our food. The staff was polite enough but nothing complimentary was offered, which would have been a nice gesture. The cat fish sandwich was actually incredibly satisfying, which almost made up for the wait. The chicken Greek salad came with a disproportionate amount of red onion, and while the olives were generous, the grilled chicken was painfully dry.

  Coeliacs don’t bother! They could not be bothered to help me eat there even though we were a group of about 40 people who will not go back again as a group. I ended up with a processed veggie burger in between 2 lettuce leaves and a small side salad. No effort, no knowledge, and then the bill came. I was charged the same as a regular burger with a bun, and my wine was charged at 9 oz instead of 6 oz. had to come home and make myself a grilled cheese sandwich as I was so hungry. Will not eat there again! Worst thing is Nesters grocery store is right opposite with so many gluten free foods they could have as a substitute in emergency circumstances when they are not prepared. I guess it was too much bother.

  Happy chomper. Made reservations for a 8pm on a Friday – which could have been tricky as It’s on the smaller side for seating … but made it that much cozier on a rainy Vancouver evening! Service was prompt & efficient. Portions generous for the dishes we ordered. Steak & Yorkshire pudding good value for $. Perfectly prepared @ medium, accompanied by roasted veggies. Yorkshire pudding looked & tasted more like a dead muffin, but the rest of the meal made up for it. Can’t remember the drinks too much, but we were kindly treated to a birthday toast. Thx, classy! Yes, will return for early evening drinks.

  Chaise on Main Street was probably one of the best surprises a foodie could come across! There are such a mix of great dining places on Main, but this one stood out primarily for its vast selection of food- burgers to steaks, salads to tacos- and great prices!The vibe inside the restaurant is very much a local feel. Youll find such a great assortment of young and old people, some watching the sports and sitting at the bar, others catching up at a table in the far corner. It truly felt like the people around us had been here many times, and for a Tuesday, it was a happening place! Our waitress was very friendly, telling us all about the history of the restaurant and great picks, as well as the daily special, which was steak. I was reluctant to order it, as Im pretty picky when asking for it done medium-rare, but ordered it anyway. We also ordered the pierogi burger which was delicious! My steak came and was cooked to perfection, and tasted great! The pierogi burger was massive, and delicious as well! While the drink menu didnt have endless options- I thought it had more than enough to select from, and restaurant was very accommodating of any recommendations as well.Overall, great service, the food was amazing and the prices were fantastic! I would absolutely check this place out again!
