This place is super adorable, and you can get a lot more than just honey from here. The honey is pretty reasonably priced, and the honey sticks are delicious and only $5 for 20 sticks. They sell candles, bakery items, plant seeds, and even honey beauty products. They’re also kid friendly; I definitely plan on coming back here to try more great treats.
First impression going inside, wow its a cute setup. On the left side there are wooden tables and chairs for people to converse and snack. Books and souvenirs. Lots and LOTS of honey products that are au natural. I love their tiny jars that are packaged together for gift giving. If you ask me what’s my favorite honey for my tea, I’d recommend the blueberry honey to start. Then proceed from there. Such a wonderful shop. Perfect addition to main street. It’s got alot of character.Oh and it’s DOG FRIENDLY!
Such a cute spot to find all things honey. I was actually surprised they served food in the back as the store just looks like a honey retailer. I love the large selection of honey they have here which is mostly organic or local. I got a cup of frozen yogurt for $3.50 which comes with as much honey drizzle (of your choice) as you want. A great simple dessert that gives you a chance to sample some of the high quality honey they offer. I also tried one of their fresh gingerbread bookies which was incredibly crumbly and packed with the signature gingerbread flavour. I heard that their honeycomb cakes are delicious but unfortunately they were sold out and the baker didn’t make another batch beforehand. Hopefully they’ll be in stock during my next visit. The snacks here make Honey Shoppe a great place to stop by when you’re in the area. thecameraeatsfirst.com
