Great lunch bun-which.. Fresh and tasty and very fairly priced. Enjoyed a chicken bunwhich for lunch. Fast and friendly service. Even picked up quejos brand chocolate chip cookies on clearance for $3.99 for 8pcs. Really good jalapeo bun.
Best cheap eat in Vancouver. I’m so happy to have discovered this little gem! Quejos’ cheesebuns are DELICIOUS. They’re made fresh daily (you can see and smell the kitchen from the counter, yum). I recommend trying the Brasilia: a very generous filling of black forest ham, fresh salad, havarti cheese, optional mayo and honey dressing, all served on a bun of your choice (black olive, basil, almond, spinach and onion…). The cheesebuns themselves have a unique texture, and they squeak between your teeth as you chew. It sounds strange, but is amazing.There are all sorts of other gluten-free treats too: pre-frozen buns, quejo dough, snacks, chips, muesli etc. I bought a cupcake today and the sponge was a little dry, but the lashings of coconut icing more than made up for itThe staff are lovely and efficient too. And to top it off, all of the sandwiches are under $5. As a bonus, there are always bags of ‘imperfects’ out: grab 5 imperfect buns for $3 and you can make your own sandwiches at home. It’s love!

I love them with cheese and guacamole. The sandwiches are great for a quick lunch – always made fresh when you order. The owner and servers are lovely too, always helpful and friendly.
