  Raw Chicken, bad service, poorly managed. This place is the worst run pub I’ve been to. My wife and I go to local establishments every Friday and we thought we’d give this one a go. The waitress ( who later called herself the manager) looked like we were bothering her as we walked into the almost empty pub on Friday night. We ordered some chicken skewers and potato skins as the menu was limited to burgers and sandwiches. The food came 15 min later and i bit into the chicken to find that it was raw in the middle. I called the waitress (manager) to our table and let her know. She went on to explain to me that it only looks raw. I asked her to take it away and she went on to try to explain to me that it is not raw. I eat our several times a week from the best restaurants to street food and i, like most people know what raw chicken looks and tastes like so to argue about it is not only foolish, but a danger to the public. This place should be closed down as a public hazard, and this manager/waitress should find a new line of work.

  This place is a hole. This neighborhood needs a real pub. With all the high rises going up and all the people moving into the area, why won’t somebody build a real pub. Disappointing!

  ‘Great Hang-out Spot for College Students’. After a tiring and exhaustive semester of term papers, deadlines and never-ending assignments, my friends and I were dying to go to a fabulous, hip and yet serene hangout spot. So we went to the Charlie Hamiltons Pub, located in Pinetree Way, Coquitlam. Upon entering the restaurant, you feel as if you have entered a sports club- one that reminds you of the hang-out spot in your hometown. One of the most remarkable things about the pub is the seating arrangement. An outdoor patio has been placed to ensure that the customers simultaneously enjoy multitudinal aspects of dining out i.e. enjoying a nice meal, comfortably conversing with friends and feeling the soft gentle out-door breeze softly brush against one’s shoulders. This unusually pleasant atmosphere was complemented by the delicious food variety available at Charlie Hamiltons Pub. Although the restaurant offers regular favorites such as pizza, burgers, steaks and sandwiches, yet these everyday delicacies are cooked with such chef-like precision that one is tempted to take several servings. Being conventional when it comes to food, I ordered the most desirable and invariably the most loved fast-food item in the West- ‘burgers’. What sets the Charlie Hamiltons burger apart from the several burgers you might have tasted in your life is the incredibly savory meat patty. After biting through the burger, and experiencing the perfect blend of spices, one cannot help but admire the culinary expertise of the chefs at Charlie Hamiltons Pub. In fact, after finishing the last bite of that juicy, delectable burger, I renounced my resolve to go on a diet and ordered a second one. Amongst the other sumptuous items on the menu were the exotically marinated chicken ribs. You can almost sense the freshness of the herbs and the juicy, sticky and tender chicken is guaranteed to escalate your endorphin levels. Among other items on the menu were steaks and pizza but my friends and I had already devoured more than we could ever anticipate, so we decided to come back some other time and try the remaining items. The waiters were attentive and polite and gave us favorable suggestions regarding the selection of cold drinks and beverages. The drinks were icing cold and were available in an extensive variety of flavors. Overall, it was a memorable and immensely enjoyable experience. I’d give the restaurant five stars for transforming the ordinary food variety into a host of extraordinary delicacies.
