This would be a great restaurant to add to TripAdvisor as it is a hidden gem - that I'm confident discerning travelers will love!My spouse and I were visiting Kelowna for the weekend. Amir's Market was a cozy place off the beaten track in downtown Kelowna. We're so grateful we found it! The food was authentic and delicious and the service was outstanding. We had four dishes - Chicken Sate, Beef Sate, Beef Mee Goreng (yummy vermiccei with beef and veggies) and Chilli Prawn (in a flavorful sauce and tiger prawn were huge and juicy). Their meats are also halal - which is an extra special treat as restaurants that serve halal are few and far between in this part of BC!Details

Stopped in at Amir’s for takeout lunch specials again this year. The service was great, and the cooking time improved considerably from last year. The food was tasty as usual but slightly smaller portions I think. Still a great bargain for quality ‘fast-food’.
