Instant migraine headache from the fish bento box. Thanks Fujiya! Food tasted ok. Within 20 minutes I could feel the headache come on. Probably saturated with sulphites in that seaweed salad. Also the takeout containers are made of polystyrene which is bad. Number 6 PlasticsPS (polystyrene) Found in: Disposable plates and cups, meat trays, egg cartons, carry-out containers, and some plastic cutleryWhy? Number 6 plastics can release potentially toxic breakdown products (including styrene). Particularly when heated! It has been found to leach styrenea neurotoxin and possible human carcinogenand has been banned in cities like Portland, Ore. and San Francisco. Still, it persists and is not often recyclable in curbside programs, though some recycling centers will take it.

What a find.Its a Japanese grocery store with all kinda of things you can’t find anywhere else.But for me the take out food options being prepared and displayed on the back wall are IMO high quality and big. Big time value.The sushi. The bento boxes. All kinds of combinations of freshly made items.All for take out prices.And three checkout tills so no waiting to pay and go.I’m going to be a regular customer.
