One of the spots I’m at the most often, and for good reason!! They have a great selection of dishes of all different styles. There is something for everyone! Out of the three locations in Victoria I definitely prefer this location. The sauce to noodle ratio is perfect. And I’ve gotten my mean in under 5 minutes before which is absolutely amazing!! I would recommend their spicy peanut dish of you like peanut (it’s not an overwhelming flavour) and are not allergic (obviously) it’s probably their most popular dish and definitely one of my favourites
Years ago The Noodlebox was a treat. I tried the newish one at Uptown and was very disappointed. I waited ages only to get an overpriced slab of noodles and sauce, padded heavily with bean sprouts, and 3 or 4 undercooked shrimp. Tasted awful, tossed it after 3 bites. If you want good Asian street food go to Foo. Noodlebox is yesterday’s news.
Spice gamble. The food is tasty but they often get the orders wrong. Wrong ingredients happen sometimes and the spice level is rarely consistent. Be prepared for drastically different spice levels than what you order.
Sooo Good. I eat here all the time. great place for lunch or dinner. not fine dining, it’s cheap for what you get. (1 dish is enough for 2 people usually) i like the tom yum soup. my fav!
I’ll be back!. Tried noodle box for the first time yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised. Large portion served very quickly. I had the singapore curry with chicken and prawns. Very flavourful and tasty. My wife had the tomyum soup and it was amazing. Pleasant staff were helpful in helping us choose our meals. Plenty of gluten free options which is nice. I will be recommending to all my friends.
Cheaping out !!!. I used to frequent noodle box a lot …but they became very inconsistent .. today i had my favourite again chicken cashew curry .. but notice the boxes are smaller .. like half the size boooo.. bad play noodle box 13$ for a half a box of noodles .. i wont be back 🙁 also its like they have a different recipe every time i don’t understand ?
