Flavor, Quality and Made with Love -unsurpassable. Everything made from scratch and made with love. Roti’s are made in-house and the soft shell melts in your mouth whilst the filling is really tasty. Not too hot for Canadian palates, but ask for their hot sauce if you enjoy some heat with flavor. Curried goat served Friday’s and Saturday is a MUST ! Check out the picture…YUM. If you like lamb, you will love goat.My partner and I eat here/get take out 3 times a week when we are near Victoria. Absolute value for money and healthy to boot!
Best food in victoria. Sinply amazing. A must try.
GOOD FOOD – WRONG LOCATION …. GOOD FOOD – WRONG LOCATIONtheir rotis are amazing
Fabulous Roti. I have been to Trinidad many times and have had Roti in Winnipeg as well – but this is the BEST Roti -The owners are fantastic – the roti bread is perfect – and the filling is to-die-for. If you have not tried authentic carribean food – it is worth the trip – delicous food prepared by folks who know how to cook roti!! Glad that we finally have real roti in Victoria and this even beats the yummy roti shops in Winnipeg!!
Best roti on the island!. I come here every time I am in town, and crave it when I am away. Comparable to the roti in Ontario, and down south! Love the veggie roti and chicken. Hot sauce is perfect as well!
Cheesy name, awesome food. My brother took me to this place housed in a little strip mall in a residential area of Victoria. Half a dozen formica tables with kitchen chairs. Nothing Caribbean about the atmosphere in the place except for a few photos and knick-knacks from Trinidad. But the food – awesome. Fresh, pillowy roti shells filled with flavourful potato and chickpea curry and a variety of proteins. Get there early on Saturday or the doubles will be gone (for the uninitiated, doubles are fritters topped with a savoury curry chickpea stew. Not spicy unless you fix them that way. Delicious). The Buss up Shut goat curry is only available on Saturday as well. In addition to the roti options there are some fish dishes available including Trini – style fish and chips, but not tested on this visit. This is a great find.
Good Roti. Probably the best Roti in Victoria (probably the only Roti place here, though – I have had better out East too). Pretty early closing hours (7pm). Very tasty, not too pricey (around $10/dish). Would return.Shrimp was very good, though, but not too many shrimp on the fries. Wish there were more.
