The quinoa and beer salad was amazing! I added chicken and it was very filling – well worth the price. The only downside to our visit was that seating was very cramped.

Yummy sorbertto!!. I recently visited this place last month during my trip to the Okanagan. This is my second time here, and its still not my last. The quality is amazing here! Its almost like the real stuff you get in Italy. And the prices are pretty fair for gelato/sorbetto.

I just read the bad review below and would like to add that the staff were nothing but friendly. The rant about prices is just wrong. I whistler and Squamish a breakfast wrap will set you back 7-10 dollars. I know I live in whistler. Also this is not just some rubber eggs and a slice of bacon this was a well thought out combination, period. I will be their again next year after the salty dog and any other time I am nearby. Keep up the good work19 May, 2013The breakfast wrap with is amazing. The best I have ever had. I went for a bike ride and went back k for another wrap for the drive home it was that good. Worth planning lunch around if you are passing through.

A laughable review. For K-town Coffee Kid. A person with such passion and knowledge of coffee who reports they experienced such a poorly made latte and watched all of the steps of making it incorrectly would surely have the confidence to speak up at the first tasting would they not ? Beholding such knowledge and confidence clearly this approach would have been a very effective way to communicate their disappointment with the barista’s skills and end result. A clear and simple discussion could have taken place and any issues would have been resolved. The end result being a superbly made latte. The quality and expertise we usually provide. The prices at Pink Cherry are all in line with any cafe in town and the quality superb. Our reputation for good food and good coffee is second to none. This review is somewhat laughable. One could almost conclude this review to be a desperate attempt to keep customers away from Pink Cherry and drive them toward some other establishment, not to name names of course.A review is a review a rant something quite different that leaves a bitter taste in our mouth.Quite simply, Pink Cherry has an excellent reputation and surely some people don’t like that !.

Where great beans go to die…. Pink Cherry has a lovely, upscale, interior and prices to match. Shelves are overflowing with tacky merchandise that was clearly produced in an attempt to transform Pink Cherry into a brand (it’s not working). They use 49th Parallel coffee and would produce incredible drinks if any of the staff actually knew what they were doing. Pink Cherry has a wide variety of food ranging from panini, bagels, and wraps all the way to gelato, cheesecake, and even red velvet cake, but some of the prices are almost laughable for small town Salmon Arm. These prices could work somewhere like Kelowna or Vancouver, but not in Salmon Arm (especially considering Java Jive’s staff are competent and produce superior products at better prices only two blocks away).I have visited Pink Cherry on numerous occasions, over the years, and always witness the same thing: slow staff fumbling around an expensive espresso machine. The following is what unfolds before my eyes with every visit…I place my order and patiently wait for someone to start making my drink. I hear an espresso grinder turn on, followed shortly by the familiar clink of my shots being tamped. I then watch with horror as my shots of espresso hit cold shot glasses before being carelessly dumped into the cup my drink will ultimately be served in (hint: just pull the shots directly into the cup). Whoever is preparing my drink then realizes that they will also need to steam milk to produce a latte, so they proceed to get some out of the fridge and pour it into a steaming pitcher (usually far more than necessary). By this point, my once magnificent shots of espresso have been thrown around and left to cool (causing them to become bitter). Finally, someone begins steaming the milk, sans thermometer, to scorching temperatures. I always appreciate when a barista can steam milk to the correct temperature without the aid of a thermometer, but if you do not possess this skill, then just throw one in the milk so that I don’t have cold shots AND scalded milk. Where was I? Oh yes, the milk had just finished being burned. Finally, it gets poured over the, now dead, shots of espresso and leisurely handed to me. I take a cautious sip, knowing that my drink is going to be volcanically hot, and taste bitter coffee mixed with scalded milk. Not very surprising considering I watched the whole catastrophe from start to finish. 49th Parallel roasts phenomenal coffee, so it is such a shame that no one here knows what they are doing, because Pink Cherry COULD have some of the best coffee in town. I feel the need to mention that Pink Cherry also sells Bubble Tea as I cannot remember ever seeing this for sale at a caf before (and it’s quite good), but unless it is late (they’re open till 9pm) or you crave one of the rather rare items on Pink Cherry’s menu, I wouldn’t recommend stopping here, due to the fact that there are much better options in town. This place has incredible potential and could be amazing, but some major shortfalls leave a rather bitter taste in my mouth, or maybe that’s the latte…
