One of the best places in town!. Have eaten here a couple times in the past few years, and have been completely impressed with every aspect of this establishment. I really appreciate that they source out as much local foods items as viable. A great dining experience everytime!
Had dinner and was excellent. Chef sent out a home smoked salmon appy. I had the lamb shank and wife had the sirloin. Servings were reasonably sized. Loved my lamb. Wife’s steak was exactly as ordered. The local veg were tasty. For dessert she had the choc rasp cheesecake and I the choc bread pudding. Both were wonderful and we left the table quite full. Cost was very reasonable, I have paid a lot more for lesser meals elsewhere. Definitely recommend and will come back.
Delicious! Had the crispy gnocchi and crab cake for starters and steak sandwich for lunch. Service was wonderful and they have pillows in the booths! Haha cozy little spot, will be back!
The food is of excellent quality, but flavor is seriously lacking. Both times I have been here I have ordered steak Med rare, and both times It has come very rare. Overpriced for what you get. Try shuswap chefs for similar food but with exceptional flavor.
Kept the name, not the quality. We first went to Table 24 when it was still in the Old Couthouse building near downtown in 2009. At that time it definitely compared favorably to good higher-end restaurants in Calgary. It had a nice ambiance, attentive friendly staff , and a good selection of dishes, all of which were well prepared and very reasonably priced given the quality. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to make it a part of our yearly trips out to the lake. We returned again in 2010, and were happy to enjoy another fine meal. We were surprised to that it had relocated to the Podallan Inn property this summer but since the owner was still there we decided to check out the new digs. First off, we waited at least 10 minutes to be noticed by the hostess who, after being informed we had a reservation, kept us standing another five minutes before seating us. All the hostess/ serving staff seemed very young, unexperienced, and s-l-o-w! We ordered two caesars(nice) and a mojito(worst ever) to start and they came about 15 minutes later (there was no dedicated bartender so the waitress probably had to break out a copy of Cocktails for Dummies!) The menu was mostly unchanged except for higher prices, which were definitely not warranted as the quality of the food had seriously gone downhill. Our daughters wanted to order dessert which, surprisingly at this point, was rather good. Unfortunately it was too little too late and the entire evening was hugely disappointing.Sorry Table 24 – we won’t be back.
They handled my gluten allergy with no problem…the food was absolutely outstanding! All local, all homemade….very obvious!!
We love this restaurant! The service, atmosphere and food are compareable to most of the 5 star restaurants we’ve been to in Vancouver and other large cities in north america. You can tell the owners take pride in the dining experience they are providing! A must to go to!
