Very enjoyable view from the outdoor deck. This is a casual restaurant offering mostly seafood .The fish and chips is very good. Their oysters are particularly good. Good service as well. Definitely worth a visit on the Island for an enjoyable meal.

Rinky Dink. Dont bother with the take-away option. Overpriced and mediocre food…i cant believe we were recommended this place! For the time your waiting and the price your paying for your smaller than average piece of fish to be chucked into the container, you may as well dine in, try to ignore the unfriendly attitudes from the staff, and enjoy the views your ultimately paying for!
Best Fish and Chips. The Seaside Restaurant on Vesuvius is a destination for us every time we are on Saltspring. We think they make the best fish and chips in the area: crisp chips, fresh fish, and the batter just right in every way. We had confirmation of this a short while back when we took a friend there. He’s from Calgary and has tested the fish and chips from Halifax to Victoria. In fact, he’s a real F&C snob. He was so impressed, he couldn’t get enough and ordered more. The service and location are great too.
The fishin chips are so good
Good food, fast service, nice view, decent prices! Try to go on a sunny day in the summer and get a table on the patio overlooking the ocean! Nice!
