Went with a friend for lunch. I’d heard it’s very good and I agree. Good straightforward food. Nothing complicated. Loved the lamb burger. I find salads boring but the side salad had some interesting ingredients, including sliced heritage carrots that looked like pansies. I’d definitely return and try other items on the menu.

Nice get-away. I have two signature dishes to judge a place on – one is eggs benedict. These guys did a fabulous job of getting my order right (very lightly pouched) and the sauce was excellent. They used thick canadian back bacon and actual home made hashbrowns. The waitress was really nice. Now, I don’t know if I am just use to Victoria standards, but the place could use a bit of attention to cleaning detail. There was dripping stuff on the wall next to our table and I noticed on more than one occassion, food on the floor undertables. Our water glasses had water marks, and the cutlery was spotty. Having said this, I would definitely still recommend this place.
