Ordered salmon maki, chopped scallop cone and tempura to go. Tempura was ok, crispy enough. Chopped scallop cone was a strange orange colour, tasted like it had been finely minced with sriracha sauce (which is odd because I didn’t order it spicy). Salmon rolls were sloppily put together. The rice for all of the sushi was this pink/gray tinged colour, and completely lacked flavour. Looks like they used some weird wild rice/brown rice blended with white, and it tasted unseasoned. My brother ordered food here as well (tuna tataki, gyoza, and California roll), and we both wished we could have returned our food since it was pricey and just edible, but not enjoyable. Disappointing.

They don’t abide by the hours they post! Apparently they say they are open until 9 p.m. but they actually close about 10 minutes before (even though the open sign is lit). So if you think you’re going to get a nice late takeout order… Think again. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

Was visiting RCH and tried this place as its right across from the hospital. Got chicken teriyaki which had boiled cut chicken breast? I thought it always comes with fried chicken thighs with skin so it’s more juicer anyways and tried there dynamite cone which was mushy and moist upon eating. Will never return to this resturant. Wasted $15 and not satisfied with the meal.

For sushi options in New West, Bluefin isn’t bad. The rolls are alright but I really haven’t tried their sashimi to comment. I had their gomae. It really didn’t look too appetizing and tasted better than it looked. The service was better than many other sushi restaurants.

Eat at your own risk!!. Some of the roles are ok – but if your looking for any thing cooked you’ll probably taste the freezer, & don’t expect crisp – because you’ll be getting frozen to soggy. Tops down the road way better food and prices.

Nice little restaurant, I ordered take out, it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. I asked her on the phone when I made my order if the caterpillar roll had BBQ eel, she said yes, but when I got home and started eating it had crab meat. It was still tasty, just not what I really wanted. It also had waaaay too much avacodo but the spicy wasabi sauce on top was so yummy! I also got a small tuna and salmon roll. They were room temperature and visually unappealing but tasted fine. Like I said, nice little restaurant and very friendly staff
