Very good Thai food close to home. Pad Thai and Pineapple rice are the best.We will definitely come back and try other items in their menu.
My boyfriend and I go to this place whenever we want Thai food in the Tri-Cities area. We’ve been there probably 10+ times since finding out about it a year or two ago. Good go-to dishes are the drunken noodles and the hot and sour soup. I remember the first time we came, the restaurant was ridiculously busy and we were waiting for our food for 40+ mins. We weren’t agitated by the wait and we were happy with the food when we finally got it because it was so good. The owner surprised us with free dessert and apologized throughout the night. He’s very friendly and somehow makes part of the Thai New West experience. The decor and ambiance is quiet and clean with candlelight, a soft jazz playlist and Buddha statues. Will definitely be back soon.—Went back for the first time in years and still great food. Ordered the hot and sour soup and it seemed to have some sort of herb in it that my boyfriend and I don’t remember being in it- added a dimension that we both enjoyed. Ordered the Basil and the Oyster stirfrys with a single side of jasmine rice for the both of us and that was the perfect amount of food. The Oyster was a little too light for me as I enjoy a darker, thicker sauce but my boyfriend adored the Basil and happily announced that he would definitely order it again.
Superb place. Doesn’t have a ton of space for seating. Overall very good presentation and flavour. The food wasn’t super spicy but had excellent flavour.
I live for places like this. Hidden gems that really make you feel at home and then the wow you with amazing food that makes you want to go back immediately for more.Thai New West is one of the best examples of this. It’s in the most unlikely place and yet it blows you away. The food is truly execptional here. True, you won’t find any of the really rare regional Thai cuisine that you are seaching for. But even things like their Pad Thai are mouth wateringly good. You can really taste the componant ingredients and the attention to detail is truly staggerring.I highly recomment the Pad See Eew, Pad King and the Ginger Pad Khing. Nothing here is bad though, in fact it’s all addictively good. Don’t miss this one.
