This is a hidden gem in the South Granville neighbourhood. Playing good music, serving amazing and cool wines and delicious shared food. I am SO happy I found this place tucked away on a side street underneath stringing lights. It’s my new favourite. Also, eat the gnocchi- trust me.
A little bistro on W. 13 off the busy Granville street. When you turn onto the street, there is an art mural wall and then fairy lights decorated on the front porch. It does feel like you’re going to someone’s house for dinner, there are hangers on the wall for coat. However, the food is not spectacular. The porcini flat bread was dry and had very little topping. It was lacking in taste. If you’re looking for a relaxing bistro this may be the place but the wine list is also quite limited and the noise is pretty high. So, overall, perhaps it’s best to keep it simple, think of it as a location for pre-theatre food or a short stop for a drink.
