We were very disappointed with our dinnerThe tuna starter was smothered in soya sauce , couldnt taste the tuna Had to send back the main course , cauliflower lasagna, far to salty Wont be returning
I feel bad for all of the poor reviews as we have had nothing but good experiences here. The fish and chips are probably the best I’ve ever had. So light and flaky while still being moist inside. The beef tenderloin is great, the au jus on top just adds even more flavour to it. We have been here for lunch as well and their steak sandwich with mushrooms tastes delicious. Love coming here and sitting out on the patio.
Service was bad, we had to ask the server to bring us beer as she was busy talking to other servers, then we had to ask to clean the table, Bad service
Came in at 7pm. Server was awesome! He was very knowledgeable about the menu. Our beverages came fast. We ordered my bf ordered the waygu burger! Came out hot and fresh but his yam fries were very cold. I ordered the lamb sliders, ALSO cold… The dish itself was 14.00$ not including tax and you only receive 2 very very tiny sliders. I got it with the daily soup which was good. I had a bite or two of the sliders and couldn’t handle the temperature any long so I told the server who was very polite about the situation and got me something else. I ordered the lettuce wraps which I remember being good last year and the portions were smaller along with the lettuce being old and withered… Overal service was good food was poor.
Won’t be back. Overall, the experience of Beacon Landing was disappointing. My partner and I went in on a Friday night and the place wasn’t that busy but we felt like we were rushed the whole night. There were empty tables beside us.We ordered the fish tacos and mussels. Fish tacos were too spicy, it totally overpowered the fish. However, the fish was over cooked and tough. Mussels did not taste fresh. Sadly, we won’t be coming here again because the food was not very Good and it was way too expensive for what they offered.
Go somewhere else. Service: a bit slow overall, too long in between drinks. The food took a while but they were also busy.Lamb sliders: over cooked to the point the burger was crunchy. Spaghetti and meatballs: not enough sauce making the spaghetti dry.Seafood ceaser: was o.k.For what we received it was overpriced, we will be headed elsewhere next time!
Veggie Burger #1. If you like veggie burgers, try Beacon’s – something worthy of a craving worth going back for. We love it so much, we almost always have it, although in past visits, the food has always been consistently good. Very good.
