I’ve been coming to FOF since before I could even remember, and recently came back to the island after 2-3 years away. Finally managed to get back down to the joint after 4 years, and boy oh boy, what happened?My usual order of 1 piece halibut with fries and coleslaw came back with an unrecognizable, over-cooked batter, half the size it used to be, and a texture I do not remember a classic piece of halibut being. Tables sticky, took the servers about 15 minutes to even ask what we’d like to drink (certainly was NOT busy tonight at all). Did FOF get new management while I was away? The menu was a laminated piece of printer paper straight off MS Office, their old menu was quite fun and comfortable.Not to be dramatic, but man was that ever a disappointment after missing these guys for 4 years. Lost one of my favourite spots on the island.
