We did not have a good experience at this restaurant. We were looking for a place to have dinner in Sidney before catching a ferry back to Vancouver. When we arrived, the first question was about whether we had a reservation or not. That’s fair, but the tone of the hostess made us feel unwelcome. We were offered the lounge, which was fine. However, it took a long time for a waitress to come over and get us started. When we did finally get asked about orders, we chose a chicken club and a burger — not complicated to make. It took a good 30 minutes for such basic dishes to arrive. People around us who were seated after we arrived got their meals before we did. Why?! We noticed! After such a long wait, there was no acknowledgment of the wait or any apology. This restaurant was oblivious to our needs, and we cannot recommend it.
