VERY BASIC coffee joint. Quite out of step with current customer expectations. Chipped mugs and broken chairs are to be expected, and still remain even after being pointed out. Food is substandard, but still pricey. Do yourself a favour and patronize one of several good coffee shops in Sidney.
An unfortunate byproduct of a town full of rich old people. Places like this can only survive in town like this.Extremely basic, tasteless food, forgettable service by bland teen girls with the personality of wet paper towel.$12 for an incredible fresh breakfast across the street at 3rd Street cafe, or come to the red brick and pay $10 for 2 eggs, 2 pieces of microwaved walmart bacon, and a McCain potatoe puck. All served up by girls so utterly devoid of personality, it would be more entertaining to be handed your food by a robotic arm.
Anything gluten free?. After reading the pros and cons, don’t know if I want to go there or not. are there any gluten free options for peeps with celiac?
Terrible food, and even worse service! Avoid at all cost, especially the Manager, Dan who Blames his customers because his staff take orders incorrectly! We waited 30 min for an omelette, Dan you might want to focus on the kitchen more and hire a real manager with some customer service skills. Which you are clearly lacking!
Best Mac ‘n’ cheese!!. The Red Brick Cafe has the best mac n cheese! No other restaurant in Victoria has matched their quality. They have decent drinks, and a friendly staff.
Friendly, quick service. Good home made food. Good coffee. One of my favourite places for lunch.
Nothing special. Went in awhile back for lunch, heard good things about it. Food is ho-hum and overpriced for what you get. I believe I had a Caesar Salad w/ shrimp. Extra cost for shrimp and I only got about 5 pieces; pretty sure they use Kraft salad dressing. Why didn’t I complain? No use complaining when you decide to never go back.
