Easily the best Chinese buffet I have ever had! I’ve had both the lunch and dinner buffet and recommend both. When I had the dinner buffet they had tasty prawns, mmm. Everything fresh and flavorful.
Fantastic. At first portions were a bit small, and we were a bit disappointed, but now portions are humongous, and the food is cooked really really well. Can say enough good things about this place, we order all the time.
Fantastic local Chinese food. The owners/employees are very personable and every time I go in I see them going out of their way to help an elderly customer which makes me want to patronize their establishment even more.Some traditional items on the menu, like chinese greens (gai lan) and flat rice noodle with beef (beef chow fun) which are favourites of mine. They are also very quick with the fresh buffet items every time I have visited.I agree that any really negative reviews are likely from competitors since Sidney Harbour is the relative new kid on the block, has the best location and in my opinion the best Chinese food by a long shot in Sidney.
I have eaten at this restaurant several times, and have had food delivered, as well. The food is fresh and delicious, and the people running the restaurant are friendly and enthusiastic. I have a suspicion that the negative reviews on this site are from sock puppets wanting to steer business to a specific competitor.I highly recommend this restaurant – high marks for service, quality of food, and reasonable prices. The fact that the restaurant is always full when I go there speaks to its popularity with the local residents.
Disappointing. I got take out so can’t comment on the service. The food was bland and lacked flavour. This is definitely not worth the money. The Chinese food at the deli in the grocery stores is better.
Gross. I’ve met maybe 3 people in Sidney that like this place. Disgusting. Go to good fortune, don’t waste your money. Super greasy and absolutely no flavour. Didn’t taste fresh either. Won’t be back and I try to avoid sending anyone there.
