Their still opened?. Took my grandsons to the Sydney Smitty’s as I thought it would be lower priced than most of the higher priced places in Sydney BC and some basic food. I was shocked literally at the prices on the menu. $14 and $15 for your run of the mill items, breakfast or lunch. Kids menu was $6.99 and the cheapest thing I could get as a senior was still $9.00 for one small egg, toast and bad potatoes. Even my grandsons, one got fish and chips,thought it was terrible testing. They aren’t usually hard to please. So I would never go there again due to extremely bad food and extremely high prices plus we wait for almost 30 minutes. Stay away and spend the same or even less for other cafe’s and restaurants in Sydney with better food. Sydney is a hard place to eat if you are vegetarian or on a fixed income but rather pay more for something decent.

55min and still no food!13 Mar, 2012I have been sitting here waiting to order for 30 minutes. There is only one waiter working. The manager sat us at our seat and hasn’t shown her ace since. There busboy hasn’t cleaned half the tables. I told me before asking if I had been helped that we are gonna be waiting a long time. If there was more then one dinner restaurant in Sidney this place would go bankrupt.
Good breakfast place, excellent service, the staff is alot of fun, food is pretty standard fare but it’s served quickly, and that’s what I want for breakfast!
