All day breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced. Lots of hash browns to fill you up. Reminds me of a the big breakfasts I use to get on the Prairies. Love the feeling of everyone knows everyone.
An Absolute GEM!If you like really Great food, this is the place to go!Great diner food meets Gourmet fare!Their offerings are far and away above the average. Small space with a Big heart! The Best Huevos Rancheros I’ve ever eaten! Cathy is a superb chef, she runs a tight ship and it’s under full sail folks. If you’re in Sooke BC take the time to find this treasure. So glad we get to live here! MMMmmmmm!
The best kept secret in Sooke. Eggs Benny the way they should be and my partner had Shepherds Pie on the recommendation of one of the locals there. Yummy food and great service. Just a few tables in a small space but worth the visit.
All day breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced. The Sandwich ordered by my sister was stacked with substance. The services was friendly and personal. The facilities were clean. Definitely going back there!
Comfort food at its best!. Cathy runs a tight ship and it shows. Very organized. Quick service. Great food for anyone…youngest to oldest. No pretense here…just hot yummy food. Happily makes dietary changes. Excellent catering with special extras too! Thank you for the wonderful turkey dinner! This is where the locals go. TIP THEM WELL, EVERYONE!!
Mmmm… smashed hashbrowns!. I was craving huevos rancheros, which another reviewer said could be found here, so I went for breakfast. Tiny spot, the opposite of a franchise, filled with chit-chatting locals, and a really pleasant owner/server/chef taking care of business. Hashbrowns the way I like them best–skin-on, small smashed chunks, well browned–and every part of my breakfast was fresh and tasty. Definitely recommend.
Great Food!. We had the Alternative Kitchen cater for an event – there was a lot of food for the money, the fruit tray looked and tasted fantastic, and the strawberry shortcake was fabulous. Everyone raved about it! Will definitely use them again!
